Markus is the first and only chess tutor I will ever need. He offers inclusive, affordable and flexible chess tutoring to any gender, ethnicity sexual orientation or race. I haven’t walked away from a lesson and not learnt something and has helped me boost my Elo rating from 800 to 1500 with a few months as well as opening my mind to different openings/tactics that a computer or book simply can not do!!
The first lesson was great, game analysis with Markus was very helpful and shows several recurring mistakes such as bad openings. Pace of the lession was great, the studies provided by Markus were challenging and enchance my understanding for pawn positioning
Lesson with Markus helped me improve a lot in a very short time. He usually works with me on my weak points to help me be a better overall player. During the lessons we usually do a full analysis of some of my games and he gives me advice on how to think better and evaluate the positions or on how to deal with some problems. He also prepares some material for me to solve according to what I need. We also do some openings and endgame training if I am struggling in the area alongside with a game or two afterward.
Since I started taking lessons with him, I gained over 200 rating points in classical and puzzles and over 100 rating points in blitz and rapid a month. I highly recommend him!
Markus has helped me to improve my chess by providing insight into mistakes in my play and direct steps I can take to address them. He has always been kind and patient when I don’t get something as well as encouraging when I do. His tuition has changed the way I look at the board when I play.
How do the lessons actually work?

Don’t worry, Markus will explain you trough the process and explain how the lessons work
Specialized for each student
No lesson is pre-made and the lessons are different for every student. Afterall, we all don’t make the same mistakes right?
The first lesson
Usually the first lesson begins with analysis of your recent games, inorder for the coach to identify your most crucial mistakes and starting to work on a fix for the things you need to improve the most
